President's Message 2026

Where do the years go, I am here again as President again for the third time. People say I must be a glutton for punishment, I don’t see it that way, I see it as an honour.

I am following a remarkable man in Aubrey, I can tell you now I will not be doing a fourth term, so let’s make this year a memorable one.

It is great to have Geoff Moran as Vice President and I look forward to working with him. Thanks go to all the committee, especially Michael Jackson for their hard work year after year.

I would also like to thank my club Nuneaton for putting me forward for the role and for the support they give me.

I look forward to following the senior and junior squads and I wish them all the best for 2026/27.

One thing is absolutely certain, I would not be able to do this job if it wasn’t for my wife Geraldine, who does all my computer, phone and paperwork, not my forte, thanks Geraldine.

I would like to ask players of our great County to consider taking up the vacancies on the committee, I know we have many skilled people out there, come and join us. If you ever consider becoming President, do not be put off by horror stories of massive costs, this is not the case, you can spend as much or as little as you want.

In saying all this let me finish with I wish you all a great season, I look forward to playing with or following you in this term.
